The art of becoming

Taking its name from the monarch butterfly - inspired by the journey from caterpillar to butterfly - our spirits evolve through careful craft and precision distillation, transforming simple ingredients into something refined, expressive, and enduringly beautiful.

Rare by design.

Every one signed.

None of them rushed.

This is the Monarch way.

OUR  RANGE

Our Gins

Four gins. One distillery. Each one rare by design.

Blood Orange

Bright & Citrusy

Bold, sun-warmed, and unapologetically rich. Blood orange leads - vibrant citrus oil over juniper and aromatic spice,  building into a bittersweet marmalade depth that lingers long after the last sip.

The most generous of the four.

London Dry

Classic & Timeless

Classic and uncompromising. Crisp juniper leads, supported by lemon zest, coriander, and a gentle peppery warmth. Dry, structured, and  precisely made - the foundation everything else is built on

Citrus Reserve

Zesty & Invigorating

Bright, juicy, and layered. Grapefruit and lime lead the charge, with yuzu lifting everything into something almost floral. Juniper anchors it quietly underneath. Clean, refreshing, and impossible to put down.

Native Forest

Wild & Grounded

Unmistakably New Zealand. Built around three botanicals found nowhere else in the world - kawakawa, horopito, and mānuka. Herbaceous, savoury, and quietly warming. One sip and you're standing in the bush.
