About us
THE MONARCH DISTILLERY LIMITED ("Monarch Distillery") is a New Zealand registered company operating from 67 Collier Ave, Karori, Wellington. We produce and sell craft gin under the Monarch Distillery brand.
Age restriction
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase alcohol from our website. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the person receiving the delivery is also 18 or over.
Monarch Distillery complies with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. We reserve the right to cancel any order where we have reason to believe this condition has not been met.
Liquor licence
Monarch Distillery operates under Liquor Licence number [PLACEHOLDER - LIQUOR LICENCE NUMBER] issued under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
Placing an order
By completing a purchase on our website, you are making an offer to buy the selected products at the stated price. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including in the event of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
Pricing
All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST. Shipping charges are shown separately at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but any change will not affect orders already confirmed.
Payment
Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. Your card details are not stored by Monarch Distillery.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including images, text, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of THE MONARCH DISTILLERY LIMITED and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monarch Distillery's liability to you in connection with any order or use of this website is limited to the value of the goods purchased. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
